Film adhesive (also called self-adhesive film label or pressure-sensitive film) is a composite material consisting of a synthetic polymer face stock — such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or polyester (PET) — bonded to a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and protected by a release liner.
Unlike paper labels, film adhesives do not tear easily, resist water and oil, and maintain print quality even in harsh environments. This makes them the preferred choice for beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, automotive parts, and electronic components.
