Product Overview
Coated adhesive paper, also known as copperplate paper adhesive or coated self-adhesive label stock, is a three-layer laminate consisting of: (1) a clay-coated paper facestock that delivers a smooth, ink-receptive surface; (2) a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) layer for instant, reliable bonding; and (3) a silicone-coated release liner (glassine, PE, or PET) that protects the adhesive until application.
The coating process—applied at Guanhao's Zhejiang facility using BMB Switzerland six-roll silicone oil coating technology—ensures that every square meter of coated adhesive paper meets stringent surface-smoothness and adhesion-uniformity standards at production speeds of up to 750 m/min.

How It's Made
At Guanhao's ISO 9001-certified facilities in Zhejiang and Guangdong, coated adhesive paper passes through a tightly controlled six-stage manufacturing process before it reaches our customers.
Incoming base paper and adhesive resins are tested for brightness, caliper, viscosity, and pH before production begins.
A precise coat weight of mineral clay is applied to both sides of the base paper to achieve target gloss or matte values.
Pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive is applied via BMB Switzerland curtain-coating lines at up to 750 m/min.
Silicone-coated glassine or film liner is laminated under controlled tension to ensure release-force consistency.
Master rolls are slit to customer-specified widths and rewound to required core diameters with precision tension control.
Finished rolls undergo peel-adhesion, tack, caliper, and print-trial checks before packaging and shipment.
